Bio:
Roy Quinto, Ed.D., is currently the Head of Student Pipeline Development at University California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Anderson School of Management where is responsible for recruiting and supporting LGBTQ+, African-American and Latinx applicants for all graduate masters programs. Before UCLA he served for over 15 years as a Catholic school educator and administrator. He earned his bachelor's degree (BA) from the University of California, Berkeley, his master's degree (M.Ed) in education from Harvard University, his master's degree in business administration (M.B.A.) from UCLA Anderson and his doctorate in educational leadership for social justice (Ed.D) from Loyola Marymount University, where he sat for two years as Chair of the Alumni Board of Directors. He is a Pahara NextGen fellow and the member of multiple professional and civic organizations. He is the Associate Director of the KIPP SoCal Board of Directors, KIPP SoCal is a large charter network in Los Angeles. He is the Chairperson for GLSEN Los Angeles, GLSEN is a 30+ year national with over 30 chapters - all of them organized around building affirming educational spaces for LGBTQ youth through training, political advocacy and networking. He is an active member of his faith community, serving as a leader of the Gay and Lesbian Outreach for his church.
