Jason is the Cofounder & CEO of GORUCK, a global manufacturing and community building fitness brand. The company defines rucking as “putting some weight on your back and going for a walk,” and it is both the foundation of Special Forces training and accessible to all. GORUCK executes 1,000+ Rucking Events per year, all over the globe, led by current and former Special Forces, and the company designs and manufactures high quality gear, apparel, and footwear with a Scars Lifetime Guarantee. Founded in 2008 by Jason and his wife Emily, then serving as a Case Officer for the CIA, the company is based in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. In 2020, Jason and Emily launched Sandlot Technology with the former COO of Nike+. The Sandlot App empowers trainers and community leaders to organize fitness activities of all kinds in the real world by removing the middleman and going direct to the people. GORUCK is an investor in the new business. Before co-founding GORUCK, Jason was a Special Forces Communications Sergeant “Green Beret” with the US Army 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), with deployments to Iraq in 2007, and Europe and West Africa in 2008.
