Co-Founder & CEO, Prosperall
Bio:
Sevetri Wilson Taylor is the Co-Founder and CEO of Prosperall, an enterprise AI platform revolutionizing how U.S. cities operate. Prosperall harnesses artificial intelligence to unify and analyze complex data in real time, enabling governments to make faster, smarter decisions and deliver services more effectively from a single source of truth. A seasoned entrepreneur with over a 15-years of experience at the intersection of technology, equity, and systems change, Sevetri has built a career focused on solving real problems for under-resourced communities across the country. Before Prosperall, she founded Resilia, a venture-backed technology company that raised $50 million in 2022—making Sevetri the first solo Black woman founder to secure such a round and the largest round ever raised by a woman founder in the South. She successfully exited Resilia in 2023. Her bestselling book, Resilient, debuted on the Wall Street Journal Best Sellers list in 2021. Sevetri’s leadership and impact have earned widespread recognition. She has been named one of Inc. Magazine’s 100 Female Founders, featured in PitchBook’s Top 27 Black Founders and Investors, and honored by Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the 100 Most Powerful Women of 2022. She was also selected for Black Enterprise’s 40 Under 40. An alumna of Louisiana State University, where she earned a dual degree in Mass Communication and History, Sevetri later studied at the Harvard Kennedy School. She is an Aspen Institute Henry Crown Fellow and a Board Trustee for the National Urban League in New York City. She also sits on the boards of the NOCCA Foundation and the LSU Foundation’s National Board. In addition to her leadership roles, Sevetri is a prolific angel investor, having backed more than two dozen companies across industries
