Bio:
Brad currently serves as CEO, Founder and Board Member of Linear Labs Inc., an electric motor design company with the vision to power the world’s mobility, HVAC and industrial applications with the highest torque and efficiency electric motor system available. Previously, Brad was Founder & CEO of Ustream, an IBM Company. Under his leadership, Ustream grew to serve tens of millions of users globally and $40 million in revenue. In 2016 Ustream was acquired by IBM for $150 million and formed the basis of the new IBM Cloud Video division. Brad is also Founder of Hayden’s Corner, a foundation in honor of his late son Hayden and a Founding Board Member of Branch to Hope Community Center, a nonprofit with a mission to restore hope in youth. From 2001-2005, Brad served as Operations Officer with the US Army in the 937 Engineering Corp. Brad is a member of Tiger21. He was honored as DCEO Dallas 500, featuring the region’s most powerful leaders in 50 categories and EY Southwest Regional Entrepreneur of the Year finalist in 2019. Fort Worth Business Press named him the CEO of the Year in 2020. In 2020 also he won the previous EY Southwest Entrepreneur of the Year. In 2017 he received The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business Entrepreneur and Innovation Alumni Award. Previously he was honored as an influential young leader in San Francisco Business Times’ "40 Under 40", was ranked among the 50 "Digital Power Players" by the Hollywood Reporter and was honored as Variety’s Producers Guild of America’s Digital 25: Visionaries, Innovators and Producers. Brad is a member of the 2023 Class of Henry Crown Fellows within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.
