Hailing from Shreveport, Louisiana, Austin Farrow is a nonprofit administrator with an innate passion for connection and conversation by leveraging the benefits of the liberal and performing arts. Prior to joining the Institute, Austin worked with the Social Impact department at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts where he managed the Kennedy Center Next 50 program and advanced the Center's year-round Millennium Stage series. A scholar of William Shakespeare and August Wilson, Austin holds a Master of Legal Studies in Business from American University’s Washington College of Law, an MA in Arts Management from American University, and a BFA in Theatre with a concentration in acting from Howard University. He has accreditation with the Sotheby's Institute of Art in its Art of Luxury program as well as Classical Acting certificates with the British American Drama Academy.
