Washington is an awarded business executive with a 20-year track record of driving transformational outcomes across startups and Fortune 500 giants. Currently, she serves as Senior Vice President of Market Operations & Flex General Manager at Zillow Group. As former CEO of Otrium, a vc-backed sustainable fashion marketplace, Zuhairah led operations across19 European markets, delivered the first ever full month of break even EBITDA, grew US revenue 1250% and oversaw a strategic exit. Otrium was listed as Most Innovative Company of 2023 by Fast Company. Prior, Zuhairah served as SVP & GM, Global Head of Strategic Partners across all brands at Expedia Group, led a global team of 1,000+ and was accountable for billions in revenue. She held multiple GM roles with Uber growing revenue in the DC-MD-VA market to $1B in just three years. Zuhairah is Founder and former CEO of Kahnoodle, a relationship app for busy couples. Previously, she was Director of Business Development at Qype and held various leadership roles with MacFarlane Partners, Goldman Sachs, MTV Networks and Booz Allen Hamilton. Zuhairah’s board service includes Planned Parenthood, Olo, Five Below, Upside, and The GLEW Foundation. She’s been recognized by Savoy Magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America and by the Washington Business Journal as Top 40 Under 40 in the Washington Metro region. She is a member of the Fast Company Impact Council, a participant at Fortune's Most Powerful Women Summit and a former Coro Fellow 1999-2000 and Public Policy and International Affairs Fellow 1999. She is also a member of YPO and the Goldman Sachs Spotlight Program. Zuhairah completed her BA in political science with a minor in public policy magna cum laude from University of California Los Angeles 1999, where she was awarded the Donald A. Strauss Scholarship. She holds her JD and MBA from Harvard University 2005. She is a member of the 2024 Class of Henry Crown Fellows within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.
