Vasu Vats is the global commercial lead of the Inflammation and Immunology division of Pfizer. She has launched, grown and turned around several multi-billion dollar businesses across a range of disease areas, including the top selling oral prescription medicine in the world, Eliquis. Vasu has a multi-disciplinary background and has worked in many areas in healthcare at the intersection of science and business. She is a published researcher, and has worked as a strategist, marketer, epidemiologist and health economist. She and her teams have developed and validated multiple award winning tools and campaigns to support patients in navigating their health conditions. She is a board member of MaMome, a maternal health biotech, a mentor at the NYC biotech entrepreneurship lab, and a trustee of the Franklin Lakes Education Fund. Vasu has been recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader and is a Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute.
