Bio:
Vasu is Vice President, Global Head of Marketing, Inflammation and Immunology with Pfizer (NYSE: PFE), the American multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology corporation headquartered on 34th Street in Manhattan, New York. Pfizer develops and produces medicines and vaccines for oncology, primary care, rare diseases, hospitals and immunology. Vasu has launched and grown several multi-billion dollar medicines across therapy areas in pharma including the world’s top-selling oral prescription medication. Vasu began her career in research and has over a dozen peer-reviewed publications across a range of fields. She is also on the board of maternal health biotech MaMome and was one of 20 U.S. executives recently recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader. Vasu holds her BA in Psychology from Rutgers University, 2004 and her MPH in International Community Health from New York University, 2006. She is a member of the 2024 Class of Henry Crown Fellows within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.
