Anne is Chief Executive Officer and Principal of Doran Companies, one of the leading commercial real estate companies in the upper Midwest. She has been integral to Doran Companies' growth and strategy since starting as its General Counsel in 2011. Over the past decade, under Anne's leadership, Doran has developed, designed, and built an impressive portfolio of multi-family, hotel, commercial and mixed-use projects, and managed millions of square feet of commercial property and residential communities. Since taking ownership of Doran in 2019, Doran Companies is now certified as one of the largest woman-owned businesses in the Midwest. Anne is also a Partner in Golden Hour Collective, a development company focused on build-to-rent projects in the Southeast. Anne is a member of The Committee of 200, Women Presidents Organization, and the Minnesota Women’s Economic Roundtable. She serves on the boards of Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity and Tradition Capital Bank. Anne is the recipient of numerous industry awards including 2022 People to Watch, Women in Business, and 40 Under 40 Awards by Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal; Notable Women in Business, Business Titan, and Top Person to Know Awards by Twin Cities Business Magazine; and Twin Cities Power Women Award by Bisnow. Anne received her BA in journalism and environmental studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001 and her JD from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2004. She is a member of the 2024 Class of Henry Crown Fellows within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.
