Bio:
Jason was recently appointed Chief Design Officer, Jordan Brand at Nike. He is Cofounder and CEO of Trillicon Valley, an award-winning design and strategy consultancy specializing in new venture creation and partnership negotiations for athletes, entertainers, and global creatives. Jason is Distinguished Visiting Lecturer in Product Innovation at the University of Southern California Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy. He is Founder and former CEO of Super Heroic, a children’s sneaker line. Previously, Jason served as President, Fear of God Athletics at Fear of God (FOG), in partnership with Adidas. Before this, he was Adjunct Professor & Media Designer d.Fellow at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford and Designer in Residence at Accel. Jason served Nike for over 13 years, most recently as Senior Global Design Director for Jordan Brand. In partnership with A Kids Company About, Jason released A Kids Book About Design, and he self-published his memoir, The Speed of Grace, in collaboration with Georgetown University, New Degree Press, and Trillicon Valley. He’s an inaugural member of Super Angels for Acrew & Concrete Rose, and serves on the boards of VSCO and Uptake. Jason received Fast Company’s Innovation by Design Product Design Award 2019, Red Dot Design Award Product Design 2018, and the Edison Innovation Award 2018. He’s one of Ebony’s Power List 100 of 2018, HOW 100: A Listing of 100 of the Most Talented and Influential Creatives Working Today 2018, and Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People in Business 2017. Jason earned his BFA in industrial design in 2002 from the College for Creative Studies, and his MS in general management and social innovation in 2011 from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is a member of the 2024 Class of Henry Crown Fellows within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.
