R Mohan Kumaramangalam is an entrepreneur, angel investor, national spokesperson and youngest state working president of the Congress party from the state of Tamil Nadu. Science and engineering being his first love, politics has been a second career for Mohan who over the last decade has held many diverse leadership positions in the congress party from the youth wing to the professional�s wing. Politics aside, Mohan has been passionate about green energy, building some of the subcontinent�s largest biogas plants and pioneering the use of new technologies to produce renewable natural gas. Mohan also ran businesses in the areas of biomass power production from agricultural waste and has invested in startups focused on energy conservation. Mohan graduated with a BS in computer science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a McKinsey Scholar and Masters in Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
