Bio:
Andrea Rosen is the director of markets at the Bank of England, responsible for informing and implementing monetary policy and financial stability decisions in financial markets. She joined the BoE in 2020 as head of market intelligence and analysis, and later served as head of the sterling markets division, responsible for the BoE’s market-wide facilities and operations. Andrea was previously a managing director at Morgan Stanley, where she held several senior roles across the global capital markets and fixed income divisions in London and New York. Andrea earned her bachelor’s degree in philosophy, politics and economics (PPE), graduating magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her master’s degree in public administration (MPA) from Harvard University. Andrea was born and raised in Ecuador and lives in London with her husband and three children.
