Bio:
Mr.Kun Zhang, a seasoned healthcare industry leader, has been unwavering in his commitment to revolutionizing the Chinese healthcare delivery model for the past 24 years. His journey in consulting services in the Chinese healthcare industry began in 2001, and he established the Accenture Health & Life Science practice in 2005-2007 and rebuilt it in 2010-2011. He was deliver leader in the IBM GBS Healthcare team in 2007-2010 and McKinsey China’s healthcare leadership team in 2021-2024. He has served as a senior advisor at McKinsey since Oct. 2024, continuing his dedicated service to the industry. Kun also has rich front-line experience in China, including healthcare system transformation, information technology, digital health start-up business building, etc. He started up China Resource Health Care Group as GM of Information Technology and GM of Hospital Management Academy from 2011 to 2017, CEO of Spring Ring Doctor(春雨医生) from 2017-2019, and leadership roles in several China healthcare systems. Kun holds Dr. PH candidate in Health Care Management, Health Care Systems, Public Health, Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg Public Health School. M.S. in Health Informatics, Warwick University, UK 2005, B.S. in Clinical Medicine, Peking University, China 2000. Kun Zhang is a Fellow of the 2024 Class of the Aspen Institute’s China Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
