Bio:
Helen Zhu is the Managing Partner & Chief Investment Officer at NF Trinity, the financial investment arm of Nan Fung Group investing in public and private securities/funds. Helen is also a member of the Finance & Investment Committee of the Nan Fung Group. She joined NF Trinity in 2019, after a tenure as Head of China Equities at BlackRock, where she managed portfolios, oversaw research and participated in various firmwide councils. Before BlackRock, Helen was Chief China Strategist and head of Asia TMT business unit in investment research at Goldman Sachs for eight years. Prior to Goldman, she worked at ABN AMRO and Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette. Educated at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Helen serves on the advisory board of the Investment Office of the International Monetary Fund and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Milton Academy. She is an advisory council member of the Harvard Kennedy School’s Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government and an advisory board member of the MIT Sandbox Innovation Fund program. She previously served on the advisory board of BlackRock Private Equity Partners. Helen and her husband have lived in Hong Kong since 1999 and have four daughters. Helen Zhu is a Fellow of the 2024 Class of the Aspen Institute’s China Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
