Xing Meng is partner of 5Y Capital, a global venture capital firm, covering early stage deep tech investments. Prior to 5Y, Xing served as President at Didi Autonomous Driving Company for over 5 years building robotaxis and robotrucks in China. Prior to Didi, Xing was the head of deep tech investment at Shunwei Capital. Before joining Shunwei, Xing Meng founded two artificial intelligence startups in Silicon Valley and Beijing respectively. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Xing served as the GM of Asia for Caesars Interactive Entertainment and oversaw Caesars' Asia online businesses including online gaming and the World Series of Poker. Xing started his career in investment banking at JPMorgan Hong Kong. Xing Meng holds bachelor degrees in applied mathematics and economics from University of California, Berkeley, as well as a MBA from MIT Sloan. Xing Meng is a Fellow of the 2024 Class of the Aspen Institute’s China Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
