First Name:
David
Last Name:
Glattstein
Title and Organization:
Co-Founder and President, Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG)
Bio:
David Glattstein is the Co-Founder and President of VEG, the nation’s leader in veterinary emergency care. VEG helps people and their pets when they need it most and is on a mission to revolutionize the veterinary emergency industry by creating a more compassionate, customer-focused care model. David has over a decade of investment experience from Fidelity Investments, UBS, Peter B. Cannell, and Sentinel Capital Partners. In 2017, David partnered with Dr. David Bessler, an emergency veterinarian, to lead VEG. Together, they envisioned a new model for veterinary emergency services that prioritized ER professionals, as well as both pets and their owners. This innovative approach features open floor plans in their hospitals and allowing pet owners to stay with their pets during treatment. David's commitment to innovation and compassionate care has been instrumental in reshaping the landscape of veterinary emergency medicine, making VEG a leader in the field. David is on the Board of Advisors at Goizeuta Business School at Emory University and a Trustee at Camp Avoda. David holds an undergraduate degree from Emory University and earned his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Lastly, he’s a proud husband and dad, and a perfectly mediocre, but improving little league and basketball coach.
