Bio:
Alyssa Richardson, a South Carolina native, focuses on improving economic opportunities and driving capital to under-resourced communities. She is the fund manager for Palmetto Housing Impact Fund and CEO of Develop South Carolina. Through her companies, she advocates for public-private partnerships to maximize community investment. She graduated from Harvard Law School and holds a summa cum laude economics degree from Furman University. Previously, she served as Deputy Chief of Staff and State Director to Senator Tim Scott, where she prioritized housing and economic development policy. Alyssa also worked as a federal prosecutor in Columbia, focusing on civil rights and public corruption. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Santee Cooper and the Board of Safe and Green Development Corporation. Alyssa is a Fellow in the 17th class of the Liberty Fellowship Program (South Carolina).
