Rahul Khanna is the co-founder and managing partner of Trifecta Capital, a specialised financing platform for new economy businesses in India, established in 2015. Across its three verticals – Venture Debt, Growth Equity, and Financial Advisory, Trifecta Capital provides financing solutions to start-ups across their lifecycle. Having launched India's first venture debt fund 10 years ago, the firm has since invested over a billion dollars in high-impact sectors like healthcare, education, agriculture, financial inclusion, and cleantech, as well as consumer brands and business services. Rahul was previously managing director at Canaan Partners, a global venture capital firm with offices in the US, India, and Israel. Prior to this, Rahul led the entry of Clearstone Venture Partners into India by founding their office in Mumbai in 2005. Rahul served on the Executive Committee of the Indian Venture Capital Association from 2022-2024. He earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his bachelor's degree in economics from St Xavier’s College, University of Mumbai. Rahul is a Fellow of the eighth class of the Aspen Institute Finance Leaders Fellowship.
