Bio:
Joseph McGeehin is chief financial officer (effective July 2025) of FS Investments, a global alternative asset manager dedicated to delivering superior performance and innovative solutions across a broad suite of asset classes and strategies for institutional and individual investors. He previously served as deputy CFO and head of strategy for Bridgewater Associates, where he led the finance function and drove strategic efforts in growth, capital, and governance, including its founder transition. Prior to joining Bridgewater, Joe was appointed by President Obama as a White House Fellow from 2016 to 2017, serving in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and White House Office of Strategic Initiatives. Earlier in his career, Joe held various roles at Morgan Stanley, including chief of staff to the chairman and CEO and in its mergers and acquisitions department. He earned his bachelor’s degree in history with honors from Harvard College, a JD/MBA with distinction from New York University, and is a CFA charterholder. Joe is a Fellow of Class XIII of the Finance Leaders Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
