Bio:
Victor is Global Director of Education Philanthropy at Amazon, where he leads the company’s efforts to support young people from underserved and historically underrepresented communities pursuing careers of the future. A private and public sector entrepreneur, Victor also co-founded Viska.Bio, a novel immunotherapy for cancer and other diseases, and served as Chair of Education and National Service Policy for Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s 2020 U.S. Presidential campaign, Senior Innovation Advisor to the President of Georgetown University, and as Deputy Mayor of Washington, DC. As Deputy Mayor, Victor led the mayor’s takeover of the District of Columbia Public Schools and oversaw the city’s $1-plus-billion education budget. Victor is a member and moderator of the Aspen Global Leaders Network. He has served on several boards and is a Trustee of the District of Columbia Public Library. Victor is a graduate of Georgetown University and MIT.
