Title and Organization:
William P. (Scott) Bush joined J.P. Morgan Asset Management in late 2011 as a managing director in Palm Beach, Florida with responsibility for market leadership in Southern Florida. Scott was previously managing director and co-founder of WhiteHawk Capital, a renewable energy, security and infrastructure investment firm. Prior to WhiteHawk, Scott held senior executive management positions at Maritz, as CEO of the Maritz Performance Improvement Company, as CMO and head of global sales at Maritz Inc. Previous to Maritz, Scott served as corporate vice president for Trans World Airlines (TWA). He also filled venture capital, private equity and investment banking roles earlier in his career at Bush O'Donnell, H&Q, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation and J.P. Morgan. From 1988-1989, he served as director of special placement in the Office of President Personnel at the White House. Scott serves on numerous non-profit boards and previously served as a board member for American Express Incentive Services. Scott holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree in American Studies from Yale University. Scott is the founder of The Aspen Youth Leadership Fellowship that launched 2017 in St. Louis and Newark. He is a 2005 Henry Crown Fellow of The Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
