Andisiwe (Andy Kawa) – Human Rights Activist Author and Human Being.
Andy is the Founder and Chairman of the Kwanele-Foundation, an organization focused on advocacy to transform the South African Police System to be responsive to reported cases of gender-based violence and thorough investigation of such cases. Andy has been recognised for her advocacy and leadership in society by various institutions.
She spent over 20 years as an executive in the corporate sector in the US, UK, South Africa in industrial, mining and financial services sector; followed by 15 years as an entrepreneur.
She is an award winning author of Kwanele, Enough!, a personal memoir of her battle with the South African Police Service to get Justice for women.
