Jafar Sabbah is a seasoned technology and social entrepreneur with more than 20years of experience. Jafar is the Founder & CEO of Beam Riders, a startup builing a cloud-base tracking system to monitor cognitive skills using EEG and behavioural attributes data. Before that Jafar headed few business and social startups in the fields of internet, biomedical technology, micro-finance, and economic development in addition to a successful legal practice. In 2004, Jafar had the pleasure of working with Prof. Michael E. Porter of Harvard Business School in a high-profile initiative aimed at economic development and job creation in Jerusalem. In 2001 Jafar attended Cranfield School of Management in the UK where he obtainined an MBA, fully sponsored by a Chevening Scholarship. In 1990 Jafar attended the Hebrew University, obtaining a law degree. Jafar has been quoted in leading newspapers and articles by the Financial Times, the Time Magazine, the Guardian, the Red Herring, and the Boston Globe, among many others. He is a member of the second class of the Middle East Leadership Initiative of The Aspen Institute and a Fellow of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
