Bio:
Dr. Adria Goodson the program director for the Ford Foundation's new Global Fellowship program, which launched in 2020. She is a Pahara-Aspen Fellow and was the Chief Program Officer for The Pahara Institute from through 2020. Dr. Goodson serves on the faculty of Harvard University's Graduate School of Education. She has spent over 20 years catalyzing resources to support the learning and development of national non-profit and education leaders. From 2005 to 2015, she was the founding director of Hunt Alternatives' Prime Movers fellowship program, a program that supports social movement leaders in the United States.
Dr. Goodson earned her degree from Boston College in sociology, specializing in social movement theory, public policy, and philanthropy. She has authored several pieces on movement leadership and has been a featured speaker at TedXBeaconStreet. Earlier in her career, Dr. Goodson worked for the Leo Burnett Company in Chicago developing marketing strategies for clients, including McDonald’s Corporation and Kellogg Corporation. She and Max Vohlken are the proud parents of a spectacular growing girl. In her spare time, Dr. Goodson is an avid foodie and creative chef and deeply appreciates a good pun.
