Bio:
Mark Sass was a high school history teacher in the Adams 12 Five Star School District for 26 years. Mark was a National Fellow for the Hope Street Group a national organization advocating for the advancement of the teaching profession. He was also named one of the 2010 "best of" education reformers in Colorado by Education Reform Now. Mark was a U.S. Department of Education Teacher Ambassador Fellow under Arnie Duncan and John King. He was a Fellow of the inaugural class of the Pahara Aspen Teacher-Leader Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. Mark is the executive director for Teach Plus Colorado. He leads a policy fellowship working with teachers from across the state to ensure teachers are driving K-12 policy.
