Summer Nasief recently joined Microsoft leading Middle East & Africa Health in their Azure transformation. Prior to that, she served as the first IBM Saudi female industry executive to be appointed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since the company's inception in 1914. While there, she lead the Healthcare and Life Science vertical working with government agencies such as the Saudi Ministry of Health on the quality of care transformation throughout the Kingdom. Summer has also become a prominent ambassador for change working with the Ministry of Labor and new enterprise cells empowering women to become active agents in the ever evolving Saudi female workforce. Summer has an undergraduate degree from Boston University School of Management and sits on various boards including the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) since 2005. She is a Fellow of the fourth class of the Middle East Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
