The Youth Action Forum
Offered concurrently to the adult programming, youth from around the world will participate in classic, text-based seminar sessions, action oriented workshops, and some intergenerational dialogues all while taking the time to explore the surrounding beauty of Aspen. The Youth Action Forum is the perfect way to bring the Fellowship experience to the entire family. Both the adult and youth participants will receive the same readings, meaning that the lessons can be shared by parents and children alike.
The Youth Action Forum is intended for young people between the ages of 10-18. We anticipate 120 youth participants from 30+ countries. It will offer:
- Readings-based seminar sessions facilitated by the Aspen Global Leadership Network’s Moderator Corps and select guest Moderators. These sessions will offer participants the opportunity to reflect on their own values and passions while learning from their peers from around the world in socratic dialogue.
- Programming designed to help empower participants to be become change agents in their own communities. Through art, reflection, and collaboration, participants will have the opportunity to explore how they can transform their core values into action.
- Excursions exploring the beautiful, surrounding wilderness of Aspen, Colorado.
The cost to attend is $1,000 per child. Space is limited, so be sure to sign your child up during registration, which opens on February 5, 2020 at 12:00 PM EST.

I promised myself I’d never agree to something like this again. Yet, four days later as we were leaving, I told my Dad he had to sign me up for next year, and every year after that. ... morein Youth Action Forum on 12/18/2018 09:16 AM

Hearing kids speak from all over the world was eye-opening and exciting, and I was reminded of why I love to learn. The important discussions allowed us, as youth, to express our opinions, and feel like they ... morein Youth Action Forum on 12/14/2018 10:36 AM

The councilors and members of the Aspen Institute have been one of the main reasons why I really enjoy being there. They have managed to step up the program each year by choosing topics to discuss, which have become more ... morein Youth Action Forum on 12/14/2018 10:36 AM

Not only did I meet amazing people and make great friends, but I learned more about myself and the world around me than I thought possible in a span of four days. As this past year’s theme was leadership, I was able to actively explore ways to be a better leader. I revalidated ... morein Youth Action Forum on 12/14/2018 10:36 AM
