Resources to Support Communities Impacted by Identity-Based Violence and Discrimination

Dear AGLN Community,

Earlier this month, the U.S. was rattled with a mass shooting near Atlanta, Georgia in which six of the eight victims were women of Asian descent. This comes on the heels of a year in which major cities across the U.S. saw a rise anti-Asian hate crimes and alongside a time largely defined by a reckoning for justice for the Black community. As leaders, it is imperative that we stand by traditionally marginalized communities, amplify voices, and use our individual capacity to fight against all identity-based violence and discrimination.

What organizations and causes are you already supporting or want to shed light on that are doing this work?

As a starting point, we've listed a few resources below. We welcome you to add your own and the AGLN team will share via social media and in upcoming bulletins. Please note this is not a comprehensive list and we hope it grows with contributions from across the network.
