At a time when hate is growing and we see evidence of increasing extremism at home and around the world, the Anti-Defamation League is seeking an experienced, high-energy individual to lead all our government affairs work.
Based in DC, this executive will manage a team of professionals focused on implementing ADL's policy agenda through advocacy in Congress and the Executive branch. Through our network of 25 regional offices across the US, this person will direct advocacy strategies at the state + local level. This role also will be focused on building coalitions with nonprofit partners and expanding our impact by strengthening interfaith and intergroup relations.
This job is a great fit for a person that wants to be on the frontlines of fighting hate and taking a stand in these difficult times. We need someone who sees the big picture and can set a strategy but then doggedly will implement it. We need an individual who knows politics but will act in a principled, not partisan, manner. We need someone who is fearless and will fight ferociously for victims and the vulnerable. We need a strong team player but also a self-starter who can pioneer their own path if required.
