COVID-19 ignited the Health Innovators Fellowship to pivot quickly to find new ways of keeping leaders connected, mobilized, and supported during this devastating public health challenge. As the pandemic spread around the globe, Fellows stepped up to meet their communities’ needs with immediate and direct responses to the crisis. Within weeks, the Fellowship created an array of new programs and activities designed to accelerate connections between Aspen Health Innovators and support their individual and collective efforts to tackle the effects of the pandemic and shape the post-COVID-19 American health care system.
