Hanna Tetteh is the Ghanaian Minister of Trade and Industry. Previously, she was the general manager and company secretary of Ghana Agro Food Company which is an integrated agricultural processing company situated in Tema, producing a variety of products for the local and international markets. She chairs the sub-committee on constitutional and legal matters of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), She is also a national executive member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) which is the largest opposition party in Ghana. She is a director of Accra Hearts of Oak Football Club, and is a director and shareholder of Awutu-Emasa Rural Bank. She is also currently pursuing an EMBA program at the University of Ghana, Legon. Previously, she was a Member of Parliament on the ticket of the NDC representing the Awutu-Senya Constituency in the Central Region. In parliament she was the minority spokesperson on gender and children, and deputy spokesperson on the judiciary. She was also a Member of the Committees of Finance, Subsidiary Legislation, and Defense & Interior. Hanna holds an LLB from the University of Ghana, Legon and also completed the professional law course at the Ghana School of Law. She is a Fellow of the inaugural class of the Africa Leadership Initiative-West Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
