William Kenworthy has more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry with deep knowledge and practical involvement in energy management, data analytics, project development, financial analysis, energy industry economics and energy policy. In his current role as President of Infer Energy, Kenworthy leads efforts to develop partnerships to bring Lean Energy Operations℠ tools to large energy users and the consulting engineering industry. By applying real-time big data analytics to customers Internet of Things (IoT) data, Infer’s Balance℠ software provides operators with recommendations to drive higher manufacturing efficiency, reduces energy intensity and improve profitability.
Previously, Kenworthy developed renewable energy projects for Tipping Point Renewable Energy and Microgrid Energy. He has worked as a Congressional staff member, in trade associations and co-founded of Governmental Strategies Inc., a federal affairs consulting firm. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Masters in Public and Private Management (MPPM/MBA) from Yale University with a concentration in Regulation and Competitive Strategies.
