As my Henry Crown Fellowship leadership venture, Deployed and Employed aims to secure remote full/part-time jobs and temporary/contractor roles for military spouses and retirees in rural areas of Tennessee, where nearly half of working-age adults are currently outside the workforce and reside in current or retired military families. These individuals possess high school or college degrees, marketing business skills, and have broadband-enabled households, but require the flexibility of remote work due to family considerations.
