Evanna Hu is co-founder and CEO of Omelas, Inc., an AI/ML company that detects information operations narratives and strategies, and a Senior Fellow at the International Republican Institute, a nonprofit that advances democracy around the world. She is also a non-resident senior fellow with the Atlantic Council Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security where she focuses on emerging tech policy, with a specialization in AI and 5G. Evanna is chair of the board of directors of Re:Coded, a non-profit that trains conflict-affected youth to become technology leaders. She is also a member of the board of directors of the Defense Entrepreneurs Forum and the board of advisors of PROMOTE Leadership, a nonprofit founded by active military members and veterans to foster inclusive leadership with the US Special Operations Forces community. Previously, she spent more than six years working on countering violent extremism issues in the Middle East, Africa, and Scandinavia. Evanna is a Fellow of the third class of the Civil Society Fellowship, a Partnership of ADL and The Aspen Institute, and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
